This electric auxiliary coolant pump provides supplemental coolant circulation for the 3.9L and 4.0L V8 engines in the 2000 through 2002 Lincoln LS the 2002 Ford Thunderbird and the 2000 through 2001 Jaguar S-Type. The self-contained electric motor driven design operates independently of the main engine-driven water pump providing additional coolant flow for enhanced thermal management and heater core performance. This pump replaces Ford original equipment part numbers 1W4Z18D473AA and XW4Z18D473AA as well as Jaguar part number XR82523. The Lincoln LS Ford Thunderbird and Jaguar S-Type all shared the Ford DEW98 rear-wheel-drive platform and the 3.9L V8 engine was exclusive to the Lincoln and Ford variants while the Jaguar used the closely related 4.0L AJ-V8.
