This direct replacement water pump features aluminum construction with a precision-formed metal impeller designed for the GM 3500 and 3900 series V6 engines in 3.5 and 3.9-liter configurations found across 2006 through 2011 General Motors sedans, coupes, and minivans. The timing chain-driven pump ensures proper factory equivalent installation as a direct replacement for GM original equipment part numbers 12591880, 12609000, and 89017757. The LZ4 3.5-liter and LZE 3.9-liter V6 engines evolved from the venerable GM 60-degree V6 architecture producing between 201 and 240 horsepower with variable valve timing for an excellent balance of power and fuel economy. These reliable engines powered popular models including the Chevrolet Impala and Malibu sedans, the Monte Carlo sport coupe, the Pontiac G6, and the Chevrolet Uplander and Pontiac Montana minivans.
