12V Starter Motor — Subaru 212cc Small Engine EX21 Snowblower
Replacement 12-volt starter motor for Subaru 212cc small engines. This PMDD starter is designed for the EX21 series single-cylinder 4-stroke OHC engine that produces approximately 7 horsepower. The permanent magnet construction eliminates field windings for a lighter and more efficient starter that draws less current from the battery. Counterclockwise rotation with a 14-tooth pinion and 1.181-inch gear OD engages the flywheel ring gear for reliable cold-weather starting. Three mounting ears with two 6.4mm unthreaded holes and one M6x1.00 threaded hole provide a direct factory fit. Commonly found on snowblowers, generators, and pressure washers equipped with the Subaru 212cc engine. Replaces Subaru QDEX17.
