12V OSGR Starter — Bluebird Bus Cat 3116 3126 C7 Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner
Off set gear reduction starter for Bluebird and Thomas Built bus applications. This 12-volt unit produces 4 kW with clockwise rotation and a 10-tooth pinion. Fits Bluebird buses with Caterpillar 3116 from 1996-2003, Cat 3126 from 1996-2003, and Cat C7 7.2L from 2004-2006. Also compatible with Thomas Built MVP-EF with Cat 3126, TL960 with Cat 3116, and Saf-T-Liner Type D EF/ER/HDX with Cat 3126. The OSGR design delivers higher cranking torque with reduced current draw. Replaces Denso TG428000-1610 and Caterpillar 0R9226.
