Heavy Duty Water Pump - Chevrolet Corvette 7.4L 454 V8
New heavy duty water pump for 1971, 1972, 1973, and 1974 Chevrolet Corvette models with the 7.4L (454 cubic inch) Big Block V8 engine. This is a long-style mechanical water pump with a cast iron body and durable metal impeller designed for consistent coolant circulation and reliable engine temperature management under all driving conditions. Gaskets are included for a complete ready-to-install package with no extra parts or sealants needed for installation. The 454 Big Block was one of the most powerful engines offered in the C3 Corvette generation, available in LS5 and LS6 variants throughout the 1971-1974 model years. This pump replaces GM 6260822 and GM 3990993 with original casting number 3992077. Features a 4-bolt hub pattern and heavy-duty bearing for long-lasting performance and proper fan and pulley engagement. The long-style configuration ensures proper fitment with factory accessory brackets and pulley systems including power steering, air conditioning, and alternator drive components. Cast iron construction offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance for years of reliable service.
⚠️ Verify OEM part number from your original unit before ordering to ensure proper fitment.
