THREE CORRECTIONS TO THE COMMON SPEC BLOCK:
• Some blocks print the word external in the voltage field
• Some blocks print the word internal in the amperage field
• It is 12 Volt and 70 AMP
• The pulley row is often blank, it is SIX groove serpentine
HOW TO VERIFY FIT:
• Count the pulley grooves, this unit has SIX
• Measure the pulley, this one is 2.44 in / 62 mm across
• Count the mounting ears, this unit has THREE
• Ear 1 is M8-1.25 threaded, ears 2 and 3 are 8 mm plain
• The B+ stud is M6-1.0 and the shaft is 17 mm
CHECK THE PULLEY, IT IS CLOSE TO THE 8461:
• This unit, Delco 19020601 and 19020609: pulley 2.44 in
• Delco 19020611 and 19020612: pulley 2.193 in, ears 8.4 mm
• Both have three ears, six grooves and a 12 o'clock clock
• The pulley diameter and the ear hole size are the tell
• Delco 19020601 is listed against both, so measure the pulley
DO NOT ORDER IF:
• Your pulley measures 2.193 in, that is the 19020612 unit
• Your mounting feet are 8.4 mm rather than 8 mm
• Your old unit has ONE or TWO V grooves instead of six
• Your old unit uses an external regulator
• Your engine is 24 volt, this unit is 12 volt
