Kawasaki Jet Mate 650 Control Valve Gasket
Replacement control valve gasket for Kawasaki Jet Mate 650 personal watercraft equipped with the 635cc 2-stroke twin cylinder engine. This engine features a 76mm bore and 70mm stroke producing 52 horsepower with a 7.2 to 1 compression ratio. The engine uses crankcase reed valve induction with a single Keihin CDK carburetor CDI ignition oil injection and open loop water cooling. The control valve gasket seals the control valve assembly on the engine maintaining proper operation and preventing oil and coolant leaks. The Jet Mate 650 was Kawasaki's entry level sit-down style personal watercraft designed for recreational use. The control valve manages fluid flow within the engine and any seal failure at this junction causes fluid leaks that can lead to overheating and engine damage. A worn control valve gasket causes oil seepage coolant loss and potential cross-mixing between fluid circuits. Replace the control valve gasket any time the control valve is removed for service or inspection. Clean both mating surfaces before installing the new gasket and torque fasteners to factory specification. One gasket per package.
