Kawasaki Ultra 150 STX-R 1200 Base Gasket
Replacement cylinder base gasket for Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra 150 and STX-R 1200 personal watercraft equipped with the 1176cc 2-stroke 3-cylinder triple engine. This engine features an 80mm bore and 78mm stroke producing 145 horsepower at 6750 RPM with a 5.8 to 1 compression ratio. The engine uses crankcase reed valve induction with triple Keihin CDCV 40-35 carburetors and K-TRIC CDI ignition. The base gasket seals the joint between the crankcase and the cylinder block on each cylinder. A failed base gasket causes crankcase air leaks that lean out the fuel mixture leading to overheating piston seizure and engine damage. The 3-cylinder engine requires three base gaskets for a complete set. Replace all base gaskets during any top-end rebuild or cylinder service. Clean all mating surfaces before installation. One gasket per package sold individually.
