New 12 volt permanent magnet direct drive starter for Tecumseh VLV series engines. Counterclockwise rotation with 9 tooth drive gear and 1.051 inch gear OD. Compact 2.57 inch field case with two-bolt mounting pattern using included 10-32 x 0.75 inch bolts. Direct replacement for Tecumseh 36086 and 36123. For applications with cast iron flywheel and steel ring gear only. Always verify OEM part number from your original unit before ordering.
