This comprehensive gasket kit includes all the gaskets needed for a complete engine rebuild including head gaskets base gaskets and exhaust gaskets. The JS440 was the original production stand-up jet ski and its compact 2-stroke twin engine operates under severe thermal cycling and constant water cooling which degrades gasket materials over time. Replacing all gaskets during an engine rebuild ensures proper sealing at every junction and prevents oil and coolant leaks that can lead to engine damage.
