Direct OEM replacement 12V PMDD starter motor for Briggs & Stratton V-Twin air cooled engines rated 14 to 20.5HP. Features 16-tooth plastic pinion gear with CCW rotation and 4.25"/108mm long field case. Fits engine series 400707 through 461707. Ships with extra 16-tooth plastic gear. For use with plastic and aluminum flywheels only. Direct replacement for Briggs & Stratton 399928, 495100, and 498148.
