12V OSGR Starter — Sterling L7500 L8500 Cat 3126 Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner
Off set gear reduction starter motor for Sterling L-Line trucks and Thomas Built school bus applications. This 12-volt unit produces 4 kW of cranking power with clockwise rotation and a 10-tooth pinion. Compatible with Sterling L7500, L8500, LT7500, LT8500 with Caterpillar 3126 7.2L from 1999-2004. Also fits Sterling Acterra and Condor, plus Thomas Built Type D Saf-T-Liner EF, ER, and HDX with Cat 3126. The OSGR design provides higher torque and lower current draw. Replaces Denso 228000-5850 and Denso 280-8019.
